In fact, this premier collection of sofas, lounge chairs and dining chairs is so stunning I had a hard time narrowing down my favorite pieces to share with you here.
The Sylvia Sofa won me over with its clean lines and tailored style. Bolster cushions and a high-back silhouette add to its sophisticated look. The sofa measures 82"w x 30"d x 40"h with custom sizes available, as well as 13 standard finish options and a selection of fabrics.
Who doesn't like the look of diamond tufting? The Wendy Sofa also features a skirted base adding to its sense of relaxed comfort. Measuring 86"w x 32"d x 38"h, the sofa is available in custom sizes with 13 standard finish options and a selection of fabrics.
The Duncan Lounge features a double-row nail head trim and a tapered seat resting on scalloped legs. The distinct silhouette adds to the uniqueness of the chair. The piece measures 28"w x 28"d x 36"h and is available in 12 standard finishes and a selection of fabrics.
The architectural lines and unique wing design add distinction to the Morgan Lounge. The curved, upholstered back is accented with nail head detail and an exposed wood frame. The chair measures 32"w x 30"d x 38"h and is available in 12 standard finishes and a selection of fabrics.

In my home, I take many different things into account when buying furniture, but the one thing that I rely on the most is comfort. If a product is not comfortable, I don't want it in my living space. I am not one of those people who will sacrifice large amounts of comfort for style, it just is not me. That is why I was so impressed with the Duncan Chair from Dessin Fournir. The chair features simple blocked feet and arms, offering a sense of modesty and quiet comfort in a chair market often characterized by over-the-top designs. This is the kind of chair you want for the Superbowl or other events that would require you to stay motionless for long periods of time. The soft-seat allows you to sink back into the chair for the long haul.
If you were to ask me to envision a stately chair meant for a sophisticated yet stylish living room, the Malmaison Easy Chair from Taillardat would come to mind immediately. The mahogany wood comes off as very regal and works well with the Mezzanluna fabric from Dedar. The original design appeared somewhere around 1725, available only in the homes of the most wealthy of the French nobility. I would love to have visitors to my home walk into my living room and see this chair, it would set a high standard for style throughout the rest of the house. It has a refined grandeur that would make everything around it seem classier. The chair measures 28”w x 26”d x 37”h.

This Teak Extension Dining Table and Chairs from Home Infatuation makes for a perfect backdrop to the great American past time- the summer party! Quality construction and gorgeous style make for a combination that I could easily be infatuated with.
Dessin Fournir is known for combining a mellow sense of comfort with an understated grandeur, and they have done it again with the Payne Wing Chair. The thing I like about almost all of their pieces, this one especially, is that you can tell the quality just by looking at it. Dessin pieces look and feel expensive and well made. I especially like the beehive front legs on this piece, which really give it an identity in the crowded chair market. The chair reminds me of a throne of sorts and I think it will appeal to most men looking for a self-esteem boost. The wood is fine mahogany and I predict this chair will find its way into many libraries and living rooms.
